RNUP Travelling Exhibit

The 3D colored topographical model of Rouge National Urban Park features a hand-painted surface with interactive elements to attract children. Various markers representing municipalities, transport modes, and wildlife are strategically placed and secured with magnets for easy updates and transport. Key landmarks, cast in aluminum and exaggerated for visibility, enhance the model. Roads and trails are hand-lettered for easy future updates. The model includes a hide-and-find game with Blanding’s turtles to raise wildlife conservation awareness. Debuting at the Royal Ontario Museum in March 2019, it now tours Toronto for public outreach and education.
