Calgary International Airport Carousel Exhibit

For this project Parks Canada and Alberta Parks wanted visitors to the airport to be reminded that Calgary is near many outdoor recreation areas. Using the items we travel with as raw material, Metro created landscapes and animals to remind visitors that travel to an airport can be the beginning of a camping/hiking/biking/paddling adventure. The exhibit incorporates hundreds of socks, purses, bags, suitcases, neckties, shoes, cell phones, computers, umbrellas and books (plus so much more!), and was installed for a 5-year term at the Calgary International Airport's arrivals luggage carousels.
